North Ferry Packable Sun Hats are hand crocheted to stretch and fit all sizes.  A rust-resistant, galvanized rope is crocheted into the edge of the brim. This flexible wire makes keeps the brim taunt for ultimate sun coverage and shade, while being 100% flexible for folding and packing into any size bag. 

North Ferry Hats are crocheted, which creates a stretchy fit for wear.  Most of our hats will stretch to fit most sizes.  We encourage you to stretch it on and wear it in, just like high-quality shoes!

All of our Packable Sun Hats and Chunky-knit Beanies are hand-crocheted in small batches every season.  For our popular colors, we offer a "Pre-order Listing" a few weeks before ship date- for customers to secure a hat from that batch. Make sure to check the ship date in the product listing first, in case you need your hat by a specific time.
